The DOTZ year 2018
BACK TO OVERVIEWFollowing the motto "Spring my Ride", DOTZ started the 2018 season with a spring campaign. Every winter is tough on cars. Sludge and snow, salt and grit. To avoid permanent damage to your car, a spring-clean was a must. In ten steps, users were guided through the spring-clean process with tips and useful life hacks.
With a blond mane and blue eyes DOTZ-Girl Anja underlined the fact that 2018 will be a hot year with a lot of power.
Anja also skilfully staged the new DOTZ CP5 as Ambassador of Spring. With the CP5, DOTZ interpreted the classic 5-spoke wheel quite differently. On the Audi Cabrio, the CP5 dark version whetted the appetite for more. Tradition
Certain dates during the year are irrevocable and so it was all too logical for DOTZ to open the 37th GTI Wörthersee meeting in a fitting manner. DOTZ is as much a part of the meeting as the wheels on the cars. As a main sponsor and guarantor of fine tuning, things were really hot at the trade fair stand. This year Lowrider.at was there, who also provided the draught for the eye-catcher VW T-Roc. The SUV was fitted with an Air-Lift-Performance chassis. The 3M film "Satin Sheer Luck Green" and the new DOTZ CP5 dark 8.5x20" Offset 45 provided an eye-catching appearance. In combination with DOTZ Girl Anja it caused a large crowd of visitors and a lot of shop talk among tuners. During the past months the DOTZ-Beast, DD2.JZ, has been constantly improved. The highlight of the 2018 spring season was the second test run. This time the video shootings did not take place as usual in the DD2.JZ workshop, but at the Racing-Center Greinbach. First of all Christian and Daniel had to make last preparations on the car to test the modifications under real conditions. After the first laps a short pit stop had to be made due to a puncture, but the spare wheels were quickly put on and the race went on.
Autumn was marked by warm temperatures until October. However, DOTZ was not misled and presented the most important details for the right preparation for the cold season in time for the changeover time on www.readyforwinter.eu with three subject areas. Lottery included.World premiere DD2.JZ
Another fixed point in the course of the year is the Essen Motor Show, at which DOTZ had a special surprise. Finally Christian, Daniel and Dominic presented the ultimate project car - the DD2.JZ - to countless guests at the DOTZ booth. Finely tuned in every detail and with a specially designed rim creation, the DOTZ Misano Concept, the DD2.JZ became a fixed photo opportunity for every trade fair visitor.
Pushing the Limits
Tuning fans can look forward to. The Misano, derived from the concept version, becomes reality as an one-piece aggressive tuning wheel in a street version. With five very open double spokes, the design is fully in line with the trend. The idea for the tuning rim DOTZ Misano comes from the new projectcar DD2.JZ. Deep Dish and an open spoke design form the basis. In order to meet all requirements and legal regulations for a serial production, DOTZ optimised the cross spoke wheel and decided on two colour variations: gunmetal and gunmetal front polished.
DOTZ individualizes Advent season
DOTZ has spared no expense or effort this year. With the advent calendar car fans got their money's worth just as much as gourmets, adrenalin junkies, culture lovers, racers, fitness gurus, off-road enthusiasts, lifestyle fans or gamers.
Another turbulent year is drawing to a close and in retrospect it can be summarised: objectives set, tried things out, achieved almost everything. Now it's time to enjoy a few days' holiday and fill the tanks so that 2019 can be a full year again.
