At the same time, it is well-liked as a stylish pick-up truck for leisure pursuits. The new DOTZ Kalahari, available as black or dark, meets both requirements perfectly. With its extraordinary 1150kg load-bearing capacity, it’s specially tailored to hardcore off-roaders of the calibre of a Nissan Navara.
This wheel is an impressive appearance also on terrain other than hot sand roads or river crossings. This is due to the straight-lined, heavy-duty look with the massive centre section and the ingeniously accentuated spokes.
Our pictures bear testimony to the harmonious combination of the massive looking rims with the distinctive eight spokes and the beefy pick-up. Apart from being extremely impressive and pining for off-road activity, the Navara 2006 model with the wide body look, modified by Reinecker Motorsport, is a whopper under the bonnet.
The Bushwacker fender flares offer 34cm extra width, making the straight-lined 18-inch rims look their best. The four-cylinder common rail diesel, pushed from 174hp to 225hp, featuring variable turbine geometry is just waiting for the next climb, no matter how rocky the road is going to be.
This Kalahari Navara duo can effortlessly tackle off-road challenges of any kind. The Nissan’s road clearance can be adjusted to every terrain. A body-lift at the front axle elevates the entire chassis by up to 2.5 inches. At the rear axle, road clearance can be increased by up to 3 inches using suspension lifts and air suspension.
A specifically fitted steel bumper clears all remaining doubts about the Reinecker Navara’s boundless off-road suitability. It is equipped with a winch boasting a towing capacity of 6000kg, which allows the Japanese working machine that weighs over 2 tons to come out of (almost) every tricky situation or help others. The distinctly hard-wearing DOTZ Kalahari does its bit to ensure off-road adventures without any regrets.
The DOTZ Kalahari dark and black, owing to its enormous bearing load, is suitable not only for all types of off-roaders but is also the perfect footgear for pick-up campers.
