New design paths sought and found
The Sepang blaze also occupies a special place in the DOTZ lineup because it combines various design elements and techniques to create a completely unique, sporty appearance with a distinctly extravagant allure.
The starting point was a cross-spoked design, which was expanded and modified by DOTZ designers. Combined with an asymmetrical ring, the Turbo Mesh Look was created, which creates a sporty-dynamic presence with its own grace even when standing still.
Analogue ride offering many options
The i30 Fastback N has earned its large fan base alongside its hatchback sibling i30N honestly because the 280-horsepower front-wheel drive car is appreciated for its down-to-earth nature, robustness, and pronounced driving dynamics.
Whether you opt for the six-speed manual transmission or the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, it doesn't change the fundamental virtues of the i30 N: an eager engine with a well-made rev-match function (automatic throttle blip on downshifts) and good sound, the circuit-tuned adaptive sports suspension, or the many adjustment and control options quickly awaken the play instinct.
Made for each other
As sporty as the driving dynamics of the i30 Fastback N may be, apart from a few highlights, its design is rather conventional. In combination with the extroverted DOTZ Sepang, the Hyundai gains significantly in presence and sporty appeal. This is also ensured by the sophisticated paint technology of the Sepang blaze, which creates a surprising flip-flop effect with dissolved colour pigments.
This doesn't turn the i30 Fastback N into a show-off, but it adds an attractive highlight. And to ensure this lasts a long time, the Sepang, like all DOTZ wheels, is well-protected against environmental influences thanks to the durable and innovative SRC coating.
