Call of Nature

BACK TO OVERVIEW

Word has long spread in the community: At the "Abenteuer Allrad", everything related to off-roading, the great outdoors, camping, caravanning, overlanding, and (long-distance) travel comes together, even in its 26th year. In 2024, over 300 exhibitors presented a colourful array of (more or less) nature-oriented leisure activities to the visitors. At the heart of the event, of course, was the international off-road community, which gathered here for four days filled with a packed program.

… and we were right in the thick of it

It is always one of the most delightful events of the year for us, and this year, we accompanied it with a lovingly assembled exhibit. After all, the robust DOTZ 4x4 rims enjoy an excellent reputation in the off-road scene – a fact we are very proud of.

So, we meticulously transformed a VW T6.1 California and equipped it with two of our almost legendary off-road workhorses: On one side, the rustic and extremely resilient DOTZ Modular Beadlock in the size (7x17 ET35) was on display, while on the other, we showcased the DOTZ Dakar (7x16 ET35) – and we were thrilled with the overwhelmingly positive response to these two hardcore off-road rims.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited our booth! What we take away from this event: pleasant conversations, some good suggestions, and the certainty that we will be back next year.

Vibrant programme with many highlights

The approximately 110,000 square meter exhibition area was once again packed with interesting exhibits this year, covering a wide product range.

In addition to off-road vehicles, travel and camping mobiles, quads, ATVs, and two-wheelers, there were special modifications by leading specialists to marvel at.

Spare parts, accessories, roof tents, trailers, tyres, and outdoor equipment, including absolute novelties as well as classic staples, were showcased. At adventure travel organisers, one could learn (not only) about the various possibilities for automotive travel ranging from rally trial trips to multi-week expeditions.

There were also interesting workshops and lectures – our highlight was the appearance of special guest, rally legend Walter Röhrl, who captivated the audience with anecdotes from his racing life.
