DD2.JZ The interior gets kicked out
BACK TO OVERVIEWIn this episode, the entire interior is cleared. Why? Because we will now tackle the design of the interior space. Christian and Daniel have called for expert support. Dominic Tiroch will contribute greatly to turning our DD2.JZ into a true work of art.
Dominic and Christian not only are good friends, but they have also collaborated on countless DOTZ videos. Dominic isn’t only an exceptionally gifted racer, he also successfully restores and enhances everything on four wheels.
In several places, the roll cage is welded directly to the body. All plastic parts in the interior actually have to be de-installed. Christian notices that, luckily, the dashboard doesn’t have to be de-installed in order to remove the mat.
At the end of the day, the entire interior of our DD2.JZ is de-installed. Several parts are re-installed into the car after fitting the roll cage. The seats, however, are replaced with premium Bride seats. It remains a secret which design features Dominic and Christian are planning next. Stay tuned!
