The countdown has begun - EMS, we are ready!
BACK TO OVERVIEWThe Essen Motor Show is approaching with giant steps and so is the premiere of our DD2.JZ. On 30th of November at 12 p.m. it will have its first public appearance. Christian and Daniel must really step on the gas to get everything ready on time. After all, the aim is to present the DD2.JZ in Essen in all its glory.
The most recently disassembled parts, which had already been powder-coated, are now ready for assembly. We want our engine bay to elicit a certain wow effect and elevate the project to a top level, also in terms of looks.Amongst the many powdered small parts lies the once rusty and ugly front plate which now sparkles in a new shine, just waiting to be re-mounted.
Before all parts are fitted to their respective spots, Daniel and Christian give the engine bay a good cleaning, removing all grease, dust and other liquids.
After completing the mounting of the front plate, the duo installs the cooling water supply and the intercooler including the intercooler piping. And here too, all the pipes are powder-coated in beautiful glossy black.
As the valve cover is behind schedule, today’s workday is completed by installing the headlights.
