DD2.JZ world premiere at the EMS
BACK TO OVERVIEWFrom 01 to 09 December 2018, the largest European motor show opened its doors in Essen (Germany) once again. The Essen Motor Show, which is a paradise for sports car fans, racing enthusiasts and tuners, got off to a spectacular start this year.
The preview day (30.11) and the first weekend already saw more than 130,000 visitors flock to Essen’s exhibition halls. This was the perfect atmosphere for us to unveil our DD2.JZ and our new wheel, the DOTZ Misano, to the world for the very first time.Once again, this year’s edition of the EMS had a lot to offer its visitors. Alongside a varied programme consisting of special shows and autograph sessions, there were also around 100 privately tuned cars on display. It was also possible to meet numerous motor sports and tuning celebrities at the fair.
The day before the DD2.JZ world premiere
The entire DOTZ team was on the scene very early and preparations for the press conference on preview day were in full swing. This was when the DD2 was scheduled to be unveiled to the public and the press for the first time. Christian, Daniel and Dominic could hardly wait to present their project. Dominic Tiroch, the owner of DTR-Spezial, took care of the finishing touches. In addition to many small details, the self-adhesive wheel lettering from Tyre-Style.de was carefully applied.
Preview day
Presenter Joshua Hildebrand skilfully guided the audience through the DD2 world premiere at the DOTZ booth in hall 6. Interviews with all the team members gave an insight into the complex modification process. In addition to the DOTZ Misano Concept, the corresponding street version, the DOTZ Misano, was also introduced at the press conference at 12:00. After thunderous applause and numerous interviews later, the press conference ended with drinks and pretzels. What’s next?
