It is time: our DD1 needs a successor. With a new brand car (DD2) DOTZ is launching a historical project. The exteriors are those of a BMW Z4 1 Series while the interior is equipped with the technology of a Toyota Supra with a whole lotta power. And you are going to be part of it from minute one. We will accompany this exciting project in the form of a video blog and regularly post first-hand videos to directly share this unique project with you.

Triggered by a current co-operation between BMW and Toyota – in the course of which in 2018 the two car manufacturers will jointly present the new Toyota Supra and the new BMW Z5, respectively – we want to prove, with our brand car, that we can build a better car using “old technology”.

In this first Vlog Christian Haderer (project manager) explains the underlying technology in simple words and shows you the deserted warehouse at the DOTZ company grounds which will soon be turned into a fully equipped workshop. Project partner RP-Tools will provide the workshop equipment in order to realise this exciting reconstruction. Stay tuned for more info in the next video in one week.
