DD2 JZ - DOTZ sends the Beast on tour...
BACK TO OVERVIEWThe DD2.JZ celebrated its first appearance at the 2018 Essen Motor Show. The team around Christian Haderer, Dominic Tiroch and Daniel Koltay proudly presented the ultimate DOTZ project car after two years of construction.
Affectionately called “The Beast”, this was the kickoff for the 608-hp BMW Z4 coupé into a turbulent year 2019.
DD2.JZ mastered its first challenge in Consonno. The city in the heart of Italy once was supposed to compete with Las Vegas, and today it is a ghost town, isolated and forsaken. It was here that the 2JZ-GTE Toyota 3-l turbo engine came to life, making the old walls of this city of ruins tremble. The first test ride, including daredevil drifts by Dominic Tiroch, promises a 100 percent chance of goosebumps, a taste of which can be seen in the image video.
For the unique design to come into its own during its ride across Europe, the DD2.JZ got a special treatment by Aenso Germany. After a thorough hand wash, stubborn deposits were removed by using modelling clay, and all delicate surfaces were masked off in order to prepare it for the polishing process. The highlight came in the end: the ceramic coating by Modesto “BC-05”, currently the best and shiniest sealing on the international market which impresses by its high self-cleaning ability, very beautiful pearl formation in rain, high light reflection and above-average hardness. After this perfect finish the DD2.JZ is ready to tour Europe full throttle!
Confirmed programme:
The first stop is at the BILSPORT PERFORMANCE SHOW April 19-22 in Jönköping/Sweden.
Afterwards our project car will appear at the LOW SOCIETY "Season Opening" April 27-28 at Graz Airbase One/Austria. On May 3-5 the Beast will shine its light at the TUNING WORLD BODENSEE on the exhibition grounds of Friedrichshafen/Germany.
Where there are drifts, the DD2.JZ must not be missed – May 18-19 at the DRIFT MASTER GP in Greinbach/Austria.
At the PS Racing Center there will be a quick pit stop at the CAR NIGHT GREINBACH on July 6, 6 pm onwards. Also planned in the tour programme, but not yet confirmed a 100%:
- On June 9 at the “Night of Wheels” – Here, it’s easy to be amazed. All the more when the DD2.JZ makes an entry.
- Under the slogan “Engaged by the Lake” at the SO.GA in Desenzano/Italy June 12-14 DOTZ plans to be part with the “Beast”.
- A highlight at the end would be at the CUSTOM WHEELS VIENNA October 26-27 in Vienna/Austria.
