Episode 15: Installing exhaust and cooler

In this episode, the duo is stepping on the gas quite heartily again. Our welding expert Daniel works his way forward piece by piece from the recently completed downpipe to the silencer while Christian takes a shot at installing the radiator.
Daniel has built and adjusted the 4-inch exhaust system of our DD2.JZ accurate to the millimetre. This allows the overhauled 2JZ.GTE engine to exhale freely.
After completing the welding of the exhaust system, Daniel starts on the mount holders and builds customised holders to mount the new exhaust system on the car.
The only silencer (in our exhaust system) is the rear silencer. We can’t wait to experience the sound.
Meanwhile, Christian has been installing the water radiator, which also requires a custom build in order to properly mount the radiator on the car.
After installing all four holders, the Mishimoto water radiator sits rock-solid in the Z4 body. The moment of the first test drive is coming closer…
