Christian is thinking about where to best install the so-called fly-off handbrake in the Z4. This special handbrake is a must-have for every drift car. As soon as it is operated the rear wheels start to block, which enables the rider to perform drifts precise to the dot.
Having removed the old and rusted brake lines, the duo starts to install the new lines, which requires lots of bending and crimping.
After a long day’s work, our DD2.JZ’s underbody features only new brake lines.
In our next episode, we will begin to unpack the ordered parts and partly install them in the 2JZ GTE. Our project is slowly taking shape.
