The Essen Motor Show is one of the biggest events around tuning, motorsport and lifestyle in Europe. It's not surprising that more than 130,000 visitors came to the PS Festival on the preview day which includes also the first weekend. Especially for fans of DOTZ, the wait has come to an end: DOTZ for the first time presented on the Essen Motor Show the ultimate projectcar, the DD2.JZ, to some also better known as "The Beast".

Some terrific 608 hp at a maximum torque of 720 Nm and a boost pressure of 1.5 bar: The DOTZ DD2.JZ, which debuts live at the Essen Motor Show, is called “The Beast” for a reason. Marking the occasion of launching a new version of the BMW Z4 and the Toyota Supra, the tuning brand has combined the best of two worlds in one new project car, bringing The Beast to life. Below the bonnet of the completely modified Z4 Coupé lies the power-enhanced Supra powertrain. It was presented by the team around Christian Haderer, project manager DD2.JZ, Daniel Koltay, engine tuning specialist and Dominic Tiroch, racing driver and design-responsible DD2.JZ.

Furthermore, the unique specimen is seated on a one-of-its-kind wheel-tyre combination. With the three-part cast wheel Misano Concept, the DOTZ design division demonstrates what is technically feasible.

Tuning fans can now jump with joy as the Misano will go into series production as a one-piece aggressive tuning wheel. With five highly open double spokes, the design is fully in line with current trends. The product designers have designed it as concave as possible. No other wheel in the current tuning market has a deeper dish. The DOTZ Misano is available in the colours gunmetal and gunmetal front-polished and in the dimensions from 7.5 x 17 inch to 9.5 x 20 inch for many car models including VTA.DOTZ Tuning Wheels live at Essen Motor Show 2018
Once again, this year’s edition of the EMS had a lot to offer its visitors. Alongside a varied programme consisting of special shows and autograph sessions, there were also around 100 privately tuned cars on display. It was also possible to meet numerous motor sports and tuning celebrities at the fair.

The Essen Motor Show 2018 was a total success for us. We would like to say thank you to everyone who visited us and we are already looking forward to next year!
