Essen Motor Show: gasoline brothers on the rocks
BACK TO OVERVIEWIn cold winters time every car enthusiast is warmly welcomed at Essen Motor Show. DOTZ is in the middle with his DD1.
DOTZ has brought his newly designed DD1 with the new DOTZ SP5 dark into the Ruhrpott. The streetracer with the E46 M3 in-line six cylinder engine and specially tuned engine parts delivers 669 bhp onto the road. Its extremely aggressive look is complemented perfectly with the DOTZ SP5, which is mounted on the 235 and 255 Vredestein tires. The technically advanced rim is characterized by the geometric shapes, which are applied to the spokes, which give the SP5 a three-dimensional look. And you can win them now: those who find the DOTZ DD1 with the SP5 at the fair, make a selfie with the car and post it with a comment at our Facebook-page and you could win a set of DOTZ rims.
One of the most important trends this year comes from America: the lowering suspension settings gets more and more extreme, even on Europe's roads.
More than 500 exhibitors have gathered in Essen and show sporty series cars and ...
...collectors items, which were assembled in month-longs work. Essen expects more than 300,000 visitors at the car fair.
Fender extensions, spray foils for the less talented car enthusiasts and new wheel designs are also in great demand.
As always, oldtimers, which are partly also offered for purchase, have been given their own hall. Attraction is a former Maserati racing car from the 1950s, for which about 5 million EUR are required.
This time an Italian racing car has made its mark in Essen. Under the motto "70 years Ferrari" racing and road vehicles from seven decades await the visitors. Special highlight: the early racing cars of Enzo Ferrari, who started his career on Alfa Romeo. But also a Formula 1 car by Michael Schumacher can be seen.
Always a topic in Essen: gull-wing doors. As with this Ford Mustang.
Always gladly seen: fun-cars like this Bulli equipped with a jet engine. Or does anybody want to try it?
At last some more impressions from the Essen Motor Show 2016.
