DOTZ Tuning Events 2022 Review
BACK TO OVERVIEWAfter a break forced on us by the pandemic, the European tuning community is feverishly awaiting the return of fairs, meetings and events. The year 2022 has again featured some hot events all over Europe - from Lake Garda to Lake Constance and Austria. The focus has clearly been on reuniting with other car enthusiasts, and of course, we - DOTZ and some of our team riders - would not miss this chance and have joined the frenzy.
Turn on the floodlights! Let us look into the rear mirror and marvel at some stupendous pictures.
Season Opening Low Society
On 8th May, the craziest tuning and motor sports fair in Austria took place for the first time at the legendary Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. Spectators were enveloped by boundless activities: car presentations at the Petrol Arena, an action-packed ¼ Mile Race, a fringe programme including a show stage, and a vintage junkie area.
Tuning World Bodensee
This mega event focussing on cars, refinement and lifestyle took place in Friedrichshafen from 26th to 29th May. All visitors passionate about these issues were well catered for.
Wörtherseetreffen
The lake is calling! Even though the official GTI meeting was cancelled, a number of car enthusiasts gathered at Lake Wörth for a relaxed get-together – and of course to admire the race cars.
Drift Masters in Greinbach
From 18th to 19th June, the world’s largest and strongest drifting series made a stop in Austria. 50 drivers from 22 nations amazed spectators with highest-level drifting performances.
SO.GA
Since 2013, Desenzano d. Garda (Italy) has been annually hosting SO.GA, which this year took place from 22nd to 24th June. At a breath-taking location right at Lake Garda, tuning fans’ dreams were made true. Night of Wheels
Under hot summer temperatures, this well-known tuning spectacle took place at the Ried Exhibition Centre for the second time in 13 years. Visitors enjoyed interesting news, extremely hot shows and presentations and much more.
PS Days
In July, Hannover turned into Europe’s motorsports & tuning hotspot with a brilliant mix of exhibitions, shows and workshops, the best private cars, and community meetings. The place to be for horsepower enthusiasts at the world’s largest exhibition centre, with everything you need to know about refining, individualisation and increasing the performance of cars.
Neshforce 2022
Car enthusiasts again got their money’s worth at this event. The fringe programme included a show & shine contest, db measurements and much more. Our team rider Manuel presented his Golf MK7 GTI at the Circuit Meppen track. Vau-Max Tuning Show
It was the 7th edition of the meeting, this time taking place at the well-known harness-racing course in Dinslaken. The VAU-MAX TuningShow is an event that no tuning fan should ever miss. It is not about the brand, the model or the style of a car, the main thing is that it is not off the peg. Team rider Manuel has also provided us with pictures from this spectacle.
Car Night Low Society
In August, mighty cars speeding under big fat floodlights could again be seen in Greinbach. An evening tuning meeting right at the racetrack was full of action and star guests.
Iron City
As probably one of the best and most beautiful car events in Germany, this event stands for high-quality cars combined with the old industrial culture of open brown coal mining. With its five huge brown coal excavators on display, the location of Ferropolis causes goosebumps. Team rider Stefan was there and provided us with pictures. His F20 “Hugo” premiered its brand-new foliation in coral-peach-metallic.
After Summer Meet
Not wanting to let the chance pass, our team riders Arnold and Benjamin joined the Streetlife Crew meeting. Together with numerous other car enthusiasts, they relished db measurements, cup winners and much more.
It only remains to say thank you for a summer full of events. Our followers are, of course, always on board with us, so follow us on Instagram and join us live for every event.
However, one huge event is still coming up: Essen Motor Show. We will, of course, also take you there. And the most important thing at the end: We will be presenting our brand-new rim designs for the spring-summer season 2023 there. To give you a heads-up, the designs are far from boring.
