Night of Wheels 2022
BACK TO OVERVIEWAt hot summery temperatures, the popular Night of Wheels tuning spectacle took place at Upper Austrian exhibition centre Messe Ried for the second time in 13 years. Growing visitor numbers and new requirements had made it necessary to shift to the new venue from the previous Parkhaus car park of PlusCity Linz.
An a presentation area of roughly 20,000 square metres indoors and 3,000 square metres outdoors, there was plenty to experience. The tuning trade show lived up to its name, with many stars and celebrities from the tuning scene flocking to Ried. The visitors got to see exciting novelties, mighty hot shows and presentations, and much more.
Böhm Cars as well as some cars from Fun-Run.Events were also exhibited, while hypercars from Bugatti, Porsche, McLaren, Lamborghini and Ferrari every bit as Franz Kunic’s spectacular drift burnout show in the 3,500 square metres drift area left audiences spellbound.
Visitors were able to showcase their own cars at a moderated custom show, and Sidney Hoffmann from Sidney Industries conducted exciting live interviews on stage.
And if that wasn’t enough, guests could marvel at freestyle motocross star Mat Rebeaud’s spectacular tricks at the Red Bull stunt show.
And last but not least, star DJ Rene Rodrigezz and Austrian radio station Kronehit hosted a juicy after-show party.
