In this episode, Daniel and Christian dedicate themselves to the hydraulic handbrake. Christian´s welding skills are put to the test while the cooler and the front of the DD2.JZ are partially being constructed, too.

In this episode, Daniel and Christian dedicate themselves to the hydraulic handbrake. Christian’s welding skills are put to the test while the cooler and the front of the DD2.JZ are partially being constructed, too.

Here, the intercooler is halted by way of trial. Daniel has a lot of experience and takes into account the airflow hitting the cooler, on the one hand, and the simple installation of the associated pipes.

The water cooler, which is located precisely behind the slightly smaller intercooler, must also be optimally positioned.

Meanwhile, Christian takes care of the handbrake, finally fitting it into the car. He welds the previously custom-made base plate, with support from Daniel, to the transmission tunnel in the interior. After this is accomplished, the brake pipes can also be completed thanks to the flaring tool provided by RP-Tools,

Kühler Artikelbild 4With the temporarily fitted bumper, the DD2.JZ looks almost fully assembled. Some completion works are still pending, but the moment this infernal machine is started up for the first time, is drawing nearer and nearer…
