Finally! After the elaborate renewal of the brake lines and the realisation of a self-built fuel system, in this episode, Daniel and Christian are finally unpacking all the parts they ordered.

The list of parts is long:

Original Toyota water pump, original Toyota tooth belt tensioner, Gates RPM tooth belt, ATI crankshaft vibration dampeners, SARD 850cc side feed injection nozzles, Mishimoto G-Line intercooler, screamer pipes, TiAL Sport MVR 44mm wastegates, Garrett twin-scroll AR 0,95 exhaust housing, and a Garrett GTX4088r turbocharger.

Christian and Daniel cannot wait to install the new parts in the 2JZ.GTE engine. They start by fitting the SARD injection nozzles, enabling them to complete the suction side.

In order to attach the turbocharger to the engine, Daniel performs a few small welding jobs on the manifold.

The removal of the pulley from the crankshaft, is followed by the installation of the crankshaft vibration dampener by ATI which is heated in boiling water.

The last working step for our duo includes the installation of the reinforced tooth belt in the engine.

In our next episode, Christian and Daniel are going to explore ways and means to fit the 2JZ.GTE engine into the body of the BMW Z4.
