The construction of the engine is complete. The hand brake fits. Now, Daniel and Christian tackle the downpipe and the differential.
Our DD2.JZ’s exhaust system is made of aluminium. This requires a special welding method called TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding. Daniel’s expertise is plain to see: Every welded joint is just perfect.
So as not to disturb Daniel during the installation of the downpipe in the engine compartment, Christian occupies a somewhat uncomfortable work space for dismounting the differential.
The original BMW Z4 differential is welded, resulting in a 100% barrier effect – ideal for turning in some perfect drifts.
The downpipe fits perfectly into the engine compartment. A brutal 4-inch diameter provides the infernal machine with the required exhaust air and guaranteed shivers down your spine.
