Audi TT - a reliable classic

Almost 20 years ago, Audi's Ingolstadt engineers presented a design of lasting value: the Audi TT. Harald Ehringfeld is also the proud owner of a beautiful "Tourist Trophy".
Harald’s TT is a first-generation 8N, built in 2005 with a 3.2-litre V6 Quattro drive, six-speed manual gearbox and 250-hp as standard. While we were shooting for the coupé the winter weather kicked in some more.
One point has always been considered the design classic’s only flaw. Harald took care of it:
By replacing the chassis, a Bilstein B8 below the coupé with 35/25mm H&R coilovers is now providing smooth handling.
When the snowflakes became too thick for the camera lenses we continued our shoot in a garage. DOTZ’s 19-inch Shift black polished on Federal 595 Evo tyres made for the perfect outfit. In addition to the chassis, Eibach spacers (front: 15mm, rear: 20mm) added to the Audi’s grip.
The TT is in daily use. All modifications, from chassis to wheel and tyre combinations, are approved.
The rest of the TT is all original. Having said this, some other “originals” tend to pale against the parts installed by Audi in this sports car: valve exhaust, larger rear spoiler, the highly coveted V6 bumper and xenon headlights with silver inlets round off the overall harmonious look of the Audi TT.
