Teamrider Daniel with his Skoda Superb
BACK TO OVERVIEWposted: 2017-08-11
Daniel Beck from Weißenburg in Bavaria has been a Dotz team driver for more than four years now. In 2016, we had already presented to you his white Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI with 170 hp.
Here, once again, the details of Daniel’s Czech family wagon:
The production chassis was replaced with a G.A.S. Airride including shorter dampers on the front and rear axles, followed by the installation of uni-ball strut bearings and modified rear axle wishbones to guarantee that things were as low as it gets. The driveshaft was exchanged for a divided and shorter shaft. Mücke Carbon and Kunststofftechnik provided wings enhanced by 3 cm. Similarly, the rear wheel arches grew by one centimetre in width.
While last year, DOTZ Revvo black edt. in 8.5x20’’ were revolving with 225/30 tyres, this time around the same rim design was used but installed in various dimensions. The front now rides on 8.5x19’’ ET 45 and the rear on 9.5x19’’ ET 45 with 225/35 tyres all around.
This year, the Skoda got a new design glued on. Just like last year, this task was performed by Peter Riedel and film brushing artists.
We can’t wait to see what the winter modification phase has in stall for us after Daniel has set his hands to his Superb.
