Our DOTZ teamriders part 3
BACK TO OVERVIEWThe DOTZ community keeps on growing, and with it the individual contributions in the form of exceptional pics of a wide range of cars. Go ahead and swap ideas with like-minded people, and show your car to the community. Together we can set new trends and gather creative inputs for new designs. Today we present you two team riders who both used the DOTZ Suzuka blaze and still show two completely different performances.
Andre Türke
• Auto: VW Golf Mk7 GTI BJ. 2017
• Rad: DOTZ Suzuka blaze 8.5x19 ET 45
• Instagram: @andi_mk7.5_gti
Andre’s love of cars had “washed over” him already as a child when he was helping his dad with car detailing. At the age of 18, his first car had to be both spotlessly clean and nothing short of a VW Golf.
Initially, he managed with a fourth generation 1.6 with 105 hp. In 2017, the time had finally come: The long-awaited Golf VII GTI boasting 245 hp (180 kW) was at the door.
His love of cars remains until today but, naturally, he has done some “refurbishing” now and then, introducing H&R springs, a Maxtron front spoiler, a TCR rear-end diffuser, various add-on parts and emblems painted black or film-sprayed, dynamic mirror blinkers, evil eye headlight eyebrows, and in the cabin, various Alcantara elements as well as a Clubsport roll cage.
The latest entries include light alloy rims DOTZ Suzuka blaze in an impressive 19 inches. With their high-gloss surface, the rims form the perfect contrast to the car in Tornado Red since the metallic particles in the rim finish create an additional sparkle effect. Just so nice!
Martin Arnold
• Auto: BMW F31 320d M Sport
• Rad: DOTZ Suzuka blaze & black FA: 9x20 ET30, RA: 10x20 ET40 (Staggered Fitment)
• Instagram: @m_arnie
“We Are Family” – Martin Arnold has been a part of DOTZ since 2018, so whenever he decides to show up for a photoshoot with his BMW F31, the sun comes up despite the fact that the BMW is painted in sunset orange.
This BMW 320d M Sport has yet a few other cool tricks up its sleeve ever since Martin equipped it with a Windair air suspension system including an Air Lift 3P controller. Add to this a 19-l rear tank, and you have plenty of pressure.
Day and night, lights and shadows – that could also be the motto for Martin’s choice of rims, but only in the most positive sense since he came up with a most innovative idea as to how draw even more attention to the DOTZ Suzuka.
In the front, he fitted the “black” in glossy black, 9x20 inches ET 30, and the rear features the “blaze” in 10x20 inches ET 40, which brings us to the topic of staggered fitment, i.e. different wheel sizes on the front and rear axle. This setting is popular with rear-wheel drive BMWs. Therefore, with the Suzuka, DOTZ has made a conscious effort in terms of size.
