What if not the love of cars drives a young boy to train as a car mechanic. So, the foundation was laid, and since the standard had never been Jörg’s cup of coffee, he realized very early on: the cars have a higher potential.
The drive for the extreme was also reflected in his interests for skate-boarding and MTB dirt jump. You show what you got, and it doesn’t hurt to lay it on thick.
This led to a sensational appearance 15 years ago, when he caused a stir with his Golf 4 which was used as a promotional car for the first movie of the “Fast and the Furious” franchise. That was the starting shot for numerous exhibition appearances where DOTZ Team Rider Jörg Altreuther quickly managed make new contacts with the tuning scene and eventually felt at home with the DOTZ family.
Amongst friends: As had already been the case with his Golf 4, he still loves to cooperate with yet another member of the DOTZ family – Peter Riedel, who, back then, had been in charge of the airbrush design on his car.
Even if the modifications no longer escalate, Jörg combines his hobbies with his family, remaining faithful to the tuning scene. Since care plays an important role in his second occupation as a remedial therapist, he has also implemented that in his love of cars. Paint care is his new passion.
